In those days I had great thoughts of the ultimate layout that never happened. After retiring I had time to pursue this hobby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are many aspects to the hobby: building a layout , scenery, electronics, computers, kit building, making models with 3D printing and other methods, operations and sharing the hobby with others (the social aspect), and spending money!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have an interest in HO\/OO scale (from childhood) and more recently Garden rail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main bottleneck currently was the need for a room in the shed for the HO layout and a garden layout with a small shed for the G scale\/ scale 1 gear.
